Very basic for the price but was exceptionally clean. Staff were very friendly and showed us to the room.
Table tennis was included and my son enjoyed this. The gym is also free but we did not use it.
If you want a basic stop over on the way to Hirtshals ferry, then this is perfect. Would not personally recommend for more than one night or a holiday though. Would stay again for a stop over.

We booked ICV SleepWell shortly before our July 2026 trip because of its convenient location near the Hirtshals ferry terminal.
ICV is a modern facility with accommodation, sports facilities, and an excellent swimming area. The pool is a real highlight, with a slide, massage pools, and a family sauna. It was not crowded during our stay, giving children plenty of space to play, and the price felt reasonable compared with larger Danish water parks.
The location in Vrå is convenient, with walking distance to a few shops, a train station. Parking, and EV charging is available. Hjørring and Aalborg are easily reached by train.
There are a few minor drawbacks. Like many places in this region, there is no air conditioning. Our room became warm because the sunshades had not been lowered before arrival, and tower fans could be a useful improvement. A few insects entered through open windows, but this was not a major issue. The room lacked a refrigerator and had limited luggage space. Mobile reception was weak with Telenor Denmark.
Breakfast was simple but good and self-service. The reception also offers basic meals and snacks.
Overall, ICV SleepWell is a very good choice, especially for families or travelers needing a convenient stop near Hirtshals. The swimming facilities, modern surroundings, and location are the main strengths. We would probably stay here again.

Great facilities and location, with a few minor drawbacks

We booked ICV SleepWell just a few days before traveling in July 2026, mainly because of its convenient location close to the Hirtshals ferry terminal.
ICV is a fairly new multi-purpose facility that combines accommodation with conference and sports facilities. One of its highlights is the excellent swimming area, which includes a water slide, massage pools, and facilities suitable for both children and adults. The complex is located in the charming town of Vrå, with a few shops and the train station within walking distance. From there, it's easy to reach Hjørring or Aalborg by train. We arrived by car and appreciated the large parking area as well as the EV charging stations.
The facility is next to a forest, which is home to a large number of crows. They become quite noisy in the evenings, so light sleepers may notice them.
Although the building is modern, there were a few things that could be improved. Like many places in this part of Denmark, the rooms do not have air conditioning, so this is by no means unique to ICV. During our stay, however, our room became particularly warm because the sunshades had not been lowered before our arrival. The common areas were also quite warm, and many windows were left open to cool the building. This meant a few small flies and other insects occasionally found their way inside, but it was only a minor observation rather than a real nuisance. The room also lacked a refrigerator and offered limited space for luggage. The bathroom was clean but could benefit from a few more hooks or places to hang clothes and towels.
Breakfast was simple but good, with a reasonable selection of items. It is self-service, so guests are expected to clear their own tables and sort their dishes afterward. The reception also sells basic meals and snacks, which is convenient if you arrive late. For a wider choice of restaurants, however, you'll probably want to head to a larger town such as Aalborg.
One detail I found interesting is that, according to the information provided in the room, the current facility was built after the previous building was destroyed by fire. It is owned by the local municipality, so staying here also helps support a community facility, which I think is a nice aspect.
Overall, ICV SleepWell is a good choice, especially for families who will get great value from the outstanding swimming facilities or for travelers looking for a convenient overnight stop before or after the Hirtshals ferry. While there are a few minor shortcomings, the modern facilities, convenient location, and excellent swimming area make it a place I would happily stay at again.

Perfect team hotel

In the middle of absolutely nowhere, you will find the ICV Sleepwell. I say nowhere but its only a 20 minute drive to Fårup sommerland and offers a serious alternative to the Fårup hotel.
This is more of a sports super complex than just a hotel with a training center, table tennis, football pitches and tennis all within a minutes walk if not in the building. Great swimming location? Well in 2026 it will be, with one being built right now out the back.
The rooms and breakfast are simple but completely acceptable with my only gripe being the shower which could do with a boost. Our room was built for 5 people, if this was a sports team sharing a room and not a family i dont know if the shower could handle it!
Otherwise loads of parking and perfect for those who may be participating in sonwthing nearby.
