Captivating!! What a Dive Experience!

I never wanted it to End! The team was professional, knowledgeable and experienced. Our group of about 26 persons had 4 amazing dives and were thoroughly captivated by the island and the people. The hotel staff went above and beyond each and everytime to ensure that we were safe, satisfied and taken care of. Looking forward to heading back there ASAP!

Nice room, but that’s it!!

I enjoyed the room and view, but everything else was a no for me. Service was extremely lacking. Needs a complete overhaul. Traveled here solo, when I went to the bar, poolside, or restaurant I felt as tho I was bothering them. Got to the pool bar at 9:50, he says not open for 20 min. The pool is being cleaned at almost 10am? Went to the palisades restaurant, the hostess looked at me like I was disturbing her. I asked do I seat myself, she says sure. After 15 min no greeting, I left. This hotel was not busy, and I can see why. Food was not good, no options. Tried to call room service before breakfast was over, no one answered multiple times. I had to call the front desk to get a hold of room service. I did not use housekeeping services, but when I requested toilet paper from front desk when I ran out they told me that Housekeeping was closed. Excuse me? So at 10pm I’m out of luck? I told her it was unacceptable and to find someone who can help me. I’m not expecting celebrity treatment but spending $1500 for 3 nights I expect some hospitality. The view made this place tolerable. Wouldn’t recommend.

Review of Fort Young Dive Caribbean

Fort Young Dive Caribbean was amazing! The boats were large, clean and professionally run. The dive staff were knowledgeable, patient and friendly. This was particularly important to me as a senor diver. I felt safe and the dive sites were incredible. Hawksbill turtles, sea horses, eels and healthy reefs and spectacular walls. I would recommend Fort Young Dive Caribbean highly for group or individual divers.

Bartender at pool was very helpful. Gave us some direction to snorkeling before enjoying the pool and hot tub
