Wonderful Walking Tour of the Old City

We did the free walking tour today with Louis. We met at the rooftop of the Community Hostel, which is a beautiful space with a magnificent view and delicious looking food. Then Louis took us all around the old city sharing history, indigenous culture, and traditional beverages and locally made chocolate. It was truly an insiders view of the old city of Quito, that included many of the major tourist sites as well. Louis was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had a truly delightful time. Highly recommended!

Don't come for the restaurant

Came for the rooftop restaurant but the food was so bad we couldn't eat it. The service even worse, after letting staff know our opinion they took it and argued back saying the chefs tried the plate and liked it, so must be our fault and won't do anything about it...

Walking tour and social vibe so excellent

Luis was an excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly guide on the walking tour! The hostel is a great, clean space with a fun atmosphere.

Only come early in the morning
