A Luxury Experience in the Heart of the Amazon
The lodge is beautifully built with stunning woodwork and a luxurious yet natural style. Our Jaguar Suite was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, complete with mosquito nets and a private terrace jacuzzi overlooking the jungle – pure bliss! My daughters stayed in one of the main house rooms, which was also super comfy and had access to a huge shared terrace. Every little detail has been thought of – from logo-embroidered towels to complimentary water and coffee. The swimming pool was wonderfully refreshing, and the warm jacuzzi on the terrace was perfect for evenings. We also tried the baño de cajón (steam bath) which was exceptional, and the massages in the open-air area with rainforest views were simply magical.
The staff were outstanding – so friendly, patient, and always willing to help with all of our questions. The restaurant was another highlight: delicious breakfasts (different each day), amazing Turkish specialties like the Mediterranean bruschetta and kebab, and fries so good that we ordered them multiple times.
We also went on a day trip organized by the lodge, which included a community visit, dugout canoe ride, chocolate farm, Indichuris viewpoint, and a beautiful waterfall – such a rich experience!
This is truly luxury in the rainforest: a place to relax, recharge, and connect with nature while still enjoying top comfort and service. The owners were warm and welcoming, and I’m honestly amazed at how they’ve managed to create something so spectacular in such a remote setting.
We’ll definitely be back for another relaxing holiday – Heimatlos is a gem that we highly recommend!
