Good option in the center of Otavalo

This weekend I was in Otavalo and I really liked the place. It is super well located, in the center, so you can walk out to the market, the ponchos square and other places without taking a taxi.
The rooms are simple, but comfortable and clean. Nothing luxurious, but enough to rest well after being all day touring. The atmosphere is quiet and the staff was friendly, they make you feel comfortable.
Something that I also found good is that the prices are accessible, it is not expensive and for what you pay it is quite good.
In general, it is a good option if you go to Otavalo and want a well located, practical and without spending much.

Small, loud and modest.

Room in the covered courtyard on the ground floor in the middle of the hotel's common area. Day and night in the middle of discussing tour groups and no rest. The rooms and bathroom tiny. A joke is breakfast: 1 cup of coffee, 1 glass of juice, 3 tablespoons of scrambled eggs, half a roll, a plate of fruit and then you are asked if you want butter and jam. The whole thing is served - copying is not.
Conclusion: two nights were enough.

Lovely, easy, quiet stay for someone who speaks little Spanish and a quick night stay. Staff was eager to do their best to help when I didn’t understand. The breakfast is unlike any hotel breakfast in the states. Excellent!

Hotel Indio Inn - Otavalo

The hotel is simple but very charming, has a beautifully decorated atrium. The location is great. The service is excellent. Breakfast is not complete but it was very good. We stayed in a Superior room, which was quite spacious with comfortable beds.
