Nice place to stay
Is near transportation to Central Quito and you can also go to Mitad del Mundo and Universidad Central by bus in Avenida America
As well, you can go by subway to parque La Carolina, where you can run, practice sports, take lunch in affordable local restaurants and visit the nice Botanic Gardens
The house is very accommodating, and the rooms are very comfortable.
Mis Tulia provides information and support while I was staying in the place, and she do great breakfast and meals
The penthouse has a great view of the Panecillo and has an old book library and an interesting collection of antiques
In addition, the house has nice gardens and horticulture containers with vegetables
The house has a nice variety of paints from local and international painters, such as designs of Guatemala Serguio Jimenez, watercolors of Bolivian David Vera, engravings of Ecuadorian Oswaldo Guayasamin and a rare enamel paint of Uruguayan Pablo Jimenez
I recommend Casa de Tulia if you are looking for a quiet and secluded place with near transportation to local attractions, restaurants and the Quito vive
