Great place to stay in downtown Quito
Amazing facility. Upgraded my room. Breakfast was amazing. The spot treatments were amazing. Staff and cleanliness internet everything was just top-notch about this place. Felt very safe.

“Loyal Guest, Disproportionate Charge — A Note for Management”
I've stayed at Le Parc several times over the years and have always left genuinely impressed — the service, the atmosphere, the attention to detail have consistently made it one of my favorite hotels in Quito. That's exactly why I feel compelled to share what happened during my most recent stay, because it caught me completely off guard.
During this visit, a very small amount of Gatorade accidentally spilled on the sofa cushion. I want to be transparent: it was a minor, surface-level stain on a light beige fabric — the kind that barely registers visually. To my surprise, I was charged 47% of the nightly room rate as a cleaning fee.
What troubled me most is that this type of stain — a water-based drink with red dye on a linen-weave fabric — is routinely removed with a simple, inexpensive solution: a small amount of 3% hydrogen peroxide mixed with a drop of dish soap, applied gently with a white cloth, left for 8 minutes, then blotted with cold water. Total material cost: under $2. No professional equipment required, no damage to the fabric.
I'm not writing this to be difficult. I understand hotels have policies, and I respect that. But a charge equivalent to nearly half a night's stay for something that any trained housekeeper can resolve in under 15 minutes with materials already on hand feels disproportionate — and frankly, it leaves a guest feeling penalized rather than cared for.
I genuinely hope this reaches hotel management, because I believe Le Parc is better than this experience suggests. A transparent, proportional policy for minor incidents would go a long way in preserving the trust of loyal guests. I'd welcome a conversation if anyone from the team would like to reach out.

Spacious clean room, amazing staff with a great breakfast with many choices and delicious Ecuadorian fruit. Neighborhood felt safe to wander around in.

Excellent hotel with a minor inconvenience.
The hotel was excellent overall, especially the value for money. The breakfast was also extraordinary.
However, there was a negative aspect: there are no irons available anymore. During my last business visit, it was still possible to request one. Now, if one wants their clothes ironed, they have to pay for the service. In my 19 years of business travel in South America, I had never seen anything like this.
For me, as a business traveler, this is a significant inconvenience, as I need many shirts and formal clothing.
A small piece of advice for the hotel: if regular irons pose a risk or safety issue, it might be a good investment to have steam irons available.
Unfortunately, I will have to look for another hotel because although it may seem like a small matter, it is essential for me.
