Great place to stay
This is really a nice place to stay. Clean, good breakfast, a garden full of trees and plants with comfortable hammocks. Situated next to the river. Sometimes you see little monkeys pass by in the trees. Quiet. Next to the Malecon and close to shops and restaurants. Good nice shower with big mirror with good light. Ventilator is really nice. Television is working. Friendly staff.

Lovely stay in Tena
My boyfriend and I visited Tena to do some whitewater rafting. We stayed at Hotel Los Yutzos for two nights. Tena is not the most picturesque town, but the hotel was very nice despite that, with a great location next to the river. Staff was helpful and friendly. Very nice common areas with hammocks and chairs to sit and relax by the river. Tena can be hot and humid, but the hotel provided a swamp cooler, and better cooling options were available at an additional charge. Very nice stay in Tena!

Love staying here!!
I have stayed here two times and absolutely love it! Ironically, both times I was placed in the same room. My favorite is when it rains and you can pull the window open to hear the rainfall on the trees/tin roof/etc. The hotel is within walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops. I always feel safe traveling and staying here as a solo female traveler.

Poor breakfast and a bit noisy
This is not a cheap hotel, however the breakfast feels like that. One morning I woke up to a hammer sound, the other morning someone woke up my baby and me because I needed to move my car from the pretty uncomfortable parking space. They offer parking in order to getting in or out you would have to ask others to move their cars.
The staff was a combination, some very kind others not so much.
Sadly, this hotel is located at the center of the city and is the best option for visitors who don’t want to stay at a lodge.

It had a city of tourism and adventure that you can not stop visiting. In this city there are some kinds of plants and fruits that allow to verify all the variety of the same, as for example: cacao, banana, among others. The traditions that have there are those that allow the tourists to observe all the history that has this beautiful and wonderful city.
The Jumandy Caverns is considered one of the best tourist attractions that the city of Tena has. If you were in the Jumandy Caverns, you can not stop visiting Cotundo, which is located 5 minutes from the Jumandy Caverns, you will have the opportunity to talk to the inhabitants of this area and tell them to kindly indicate the tourist attractions of Cotundo, Guide and take you to know different tourist attractions like Ruku Kausay, Aya Rumi, Churu Rumi and the Waterfall Mondayacu, all these attractions you can not miss if you are in the city of Tena. A typical dish is the fish mausoleum, frog legs, Yuyo Scab (sort of fern): It is cooked and served as salads, stew meat (with eggs). Misahualli is one of the favorite tourist attractions for all tourists. Misahualli is the ideal place to practice adventure tourism, you will have the opportunity to rent a boat, and so go to the river Napo and know the beauty of nature. Within the city of Tena there is a place known as the Amazonian Park the Island. The Amazon Island Park, has an area of 24 hectares. In general, there are more than 200 species greater than 10 cm of DBH in one hectare. The Park has a combination of native flora and introduced. Although the Park is not a zoo, but they plan the possession of some species of fauna existing since its inception as an Animal Rescue Center, this park is a nice tourist attraction that does not You can stop to visit if you are in the city of tena.
