We liked this place a lot. On the edge of downtown Cairo, it's accessible to the heart of the city and at any hour of the day or night, you can find what you want or need. Staff (Mr. Wael and Mr. Hissam) were delightful and helpful in so many ways. In this area, you wouldn't expect luxury and some aspects of the hotel are a little run down. (An example is a balcony door that wouldn't quite close, letting in a few mosquitos.) Breakfast is okay--the rooftop dining area is nice. Overall, glad we stayed here.

Good central location, close to Metro

Central location, walking distance to Attaba Metro or central sights. Entrance is not on Adly street but on the west side alleyway. Busy retail area. Small elevator to get to 6th floor. Hotel is renovated. Breakfast on roof terrace. They can arrange day tours but have a clear itinerary before hand and watch for exchange rates if they quote Dollars and ask you to pay in Egyptian pounds. I stayed 3 nights and had a late check out on 4th day. Staff speaks good English. Overall a good base for 4 day stay. Did not see any foreigners staying here but would have no problems recommending.

An oasis of Calm in downtown Cairo

A total hidden gem. Really friendly staff, all the front desk team and everyone else was great. It's an oasis of calm in downtown Cairo. Am amazing city but really intense. You take the lift in an unasumimg building to the sixth floor and rooftop top and enter another world. Decent sized room. Clean with a good wet room/ bathroom. You even get your own balcony. Completely recommend staying here.
