We recommend staying overnight at the hotel

The Tunisian Hotel has a beautiful view, some of the rooms overlook the Nile, and a sophisticated reception from the receptionist, especially Mr. Sameh, Sylvia, and Ahmed. The cleanliness of the hotel is at the highest level from Mr. Nasser, Mohamed, and the sisters Heba and Jihad. The café is excellent, and the location is the same. We thank the hotel management for taking care of the guests.

Eltonsy hotel roof top

We visited the roof for the fist time me & my fiancé
And the roof manger ( I don’t what was his title) he was very rude and almost asked us to leave because we were seating next to each other which doesn’t make any sense
Is there any policy in the place or any rules that say couples are not allowed to seat nxt to each other or grab each other’s hand,
That was so unprofessional, and it was the worst experience
This place is totally disrespectful

Don't ever stay here

This place is not a hotel. They promised a free airport transfer but it never happened and we had to take a taxi. They did not answer me when I asked them about it at reception. We had to pay for our rooms before we could see them. They had no change and we had to go back a few times to ask for it. The hotel is dirty and the lift looks dangerous. We did not get breakfast which was included in the rate. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

worst of the worst

Worst Hotel Ever!!! Stayed there recently in March 2016. There was no airport pick up arranged and the guy at reception whom I assume was the owner was very arrogant. They also don't have change so make sure you have the right amount of money to pay them if you are so insane to even consider staying there. That place is a health hazard. When you look down at the floor once you open the lift door you can see the street below!!!!! and as you go up towards the sixteenth floor you can see the passageways of all the other floors as the lift has no door like normal lifts do. Apart from it being in Egypt which is essentially a dessert It wouldn't hurt to arrange for someone to at least dust the place before guests arrive. Hotel management..... oops sorry there is no such thing!!!!!!! You have to figure out yourself what is going on with regards to breakfast and so on. We had to go find our own breakfast because apparently breakfast only opens at 9am!!!! Plus you can expect only one towel for two people in a room with two separate beds!!! Asking for an extra towel also doesn't help as you get toiletpaper instead!!! I would suggest that people rather save more money and stay at the Pyramisa Suites Hotel had dinner there and it was absolutely great value for money.

Life Saver & Great Location

After I was disappointed with my 10 nights reservation at the so-called "Grand Royal Hotel" / Talaat Harb Square of which I stayed one night only, I found a reservation at El Tonsy Hotel for 9 nights. The location was perfect, near the subway, a good walk to Tahrir Square, a few meters from the Nile, near by shops/markets & restaurants (dine-in or take-out). The hotel has a separate entrance and held 16th., 17th. floors & 18th. floor has the restaurant with a view of the pyramids. the Nile, Cairo Tower & other famous buildings in Cairo. By talking to the nice staff of the hotel, I understood that it will be some remodeling & renovation to the hotel by the end of year 2015 which it will be of great benefit to the hotel because of its great location.

Very good location
