Sloppy and tristanzuolo

We went to Cairo for the first time to visit the Great Egyptian Museum. The first impact with the chaotic city and perpetually under a blanket of smog was not the best but the Hotel even worse. A three-star that in Italy perhaps would not have even one. Located on a street full of rubbish scattered along the sidewalks overlooking the old zoo and this is the only atout that makes the view from some rooms pleasant. The reception dark, sad and scruffy already despondent but the icing on the cake is the room. The feeling is also here of sloppiness and dirt. Carpet color not better defined, upholstery semi-raised by the walls, dim lighting, cabinets and refrigerator unwatchable, the bathroom is no exception. The value for money is adequate to the structure but if you want a minimum of comfort and cleanliness spend something more and go to another structure. Absolutely not recommended.

It was an excellent stay for the price. If they update the carpeting it would be an excellent 4-star hotel..

My experience in this hotel was not good at all. The AC was warm, the fridge wasnt working properly, the drinking water heater machine wasnt working too . The bedding was dirty and smelled like dust. I feel that the money spent in this hotel does not represent the quality of services. It should be cheaper than what is advertised as it doesnt deserve the value I spent. and also, the hotel looked haunted and scary.
