I think Amunet Hidden Gem is a great name for this Hotel

We have just spent two lovely days at this Hotel. After an initial issue with our room we were given a stunning room with an incredible view. The Hotel is new and we found it spotlessly clean. The rooftop terrace is the perfect spot for meals and watching the sunset behind the pyramids. The buffet breakfast and the evening meal we had were very good. There is a small pool and outside area with loungers which was great. The staff were helpful and the service in the rooftop cafe was great. I did not encounter any of the issues other people noted. It is a little chaotic outside, but this is Egypt and camels parked outside was a bonus. We easily walked to the pyramids (10 minutes) and to local shops and Uber taxi drivers had no issues finding us. The new Museum was a 15 minute drive and a must see. It is beautiful and the exhibits are exceptional. It is a wonderful place to stay and far superior to other hotels nearby. I would happily recommend it for a stay and would definitely return.

This is not a holiday destination!

This is NOT a holiday destination at all. There’s loads to mention about this hotel and its location, I’ll keep it short.
Firstly the location is on a positive side, close to the Pyramids, but as soon as you walk outside the property, it’s like you’re in a third world country. Rubbish everywhere, scammers literally everywhere, not tourist friendly at all. Not much in the way of restaurants or cafes, and you certainly wouldn’t risk going out at night
Wanted to visit Egypt all my life, wow how shocked was we.
You can tell the hotel is new, the menus are very very basic, food very basic. Quite entertaining watching staff google how to make a milkshake
And yes a hot tub should really be hot right ?
Outside the hotel is an area where all the camels horses and millions of dogs are kept all night, no stables just out on the street, where there left. They are noisy and often get triggered by my something at 2am or 4am or 5am which sets them all off (together)
So if you want a decent sleep, forget it.
However the staff are friendly and pleasant.
Last scam of the trip was the transfer to the airport $25
Definitely shall not return to Egypt, disappointed in the state of the place if I’m honest, and for the first time on holiday, I can’t wait to go home to the uk

Areas for improvement but a good hotel.

The hotel is situated near the pyramids, and you can see it while having breakfast.
Pros:
New Hotel
Big rooms
Attentive staff
Beautiful interior decor
Average price
Good atmosphere
Clean hotel
No noise
With a pool and jacuzzi
Cons:
Poor breakfast Variety- they must include some meat dishes, and change Menu every 2 days.
Juice s are displayed openly, might be better to out in a pitcher and the guests can pour it themselves
Coffee maker must be Installed to ease coffee drinkers, stated in the hotel as buffet.
The wifi is really slow.

Affordable Marriott menahouse

Great staff , very welcoming.they arranged an airport pickup for me.
Nice location . The pyramids view was awesome.

Nice stay infront of giza pyramids having breakfast when you see the pyramids is amazing
