Highly recommend. Large apartment with beautiful views. Home away from home.
Peaceful location on the West Bank. With close access to all the key sights without having to stay within the chaos of Luxor.
Breakfast is plentiful and included. There is a swimming pool you can lazy around and utilise 24hrs.
Stayed here with 3 of my girlfriends for 3 nights (9th-12th Oct 2024). The owner Mohamed invited me to attend a local Muslim wedding with him. It became one of the highlights of my trip to Egypt.
Taxi’s - recommend Indrive or Uber Apps to get to the sights (Karnak, Luxor or Valley of the Kings). You can also walk to the local ferry and take that across to Luxor Temple.
Restaurants - It’s a 20mins walk to The Wannas Art Cafe. It’s a dusty walk, but hey it’s Egypt or grab a ride. Highly recommend.
Our Place - Arts & Craft workshop/Cafe is just down the road. Profits go to support disadvantaged people in the local areas. So go for drink, food, buy products (jewellery/bags) or take a workshop.
Side note, Egypt is very scammy therefore remember to negotiate the price of everything BEFORE you drink, eat, ride etc. Then you will have a much better time overall.
