In the heart of Siwa!

Kelany hotel is located at the heart of Siwa Oasis. You can sense the daily life of the village from the balcony of your room. The son of the owner manages the hotel and is named Kelan. He is one of the greatest people I met during my travel to Egypt. He was super friendly and hospitable, wonderful company for talks. He is also an artist and loves painting. His place is simple and clean, overall an affordable place to accommodate in Siwa. The rooftop is the highlight and has a wonderful panoramic view towards the Ancient fortress of Shali. If you visit Siwa, it is definitely worth accommodating in this place and meeting the kind and sensitive Kelany!

One of the best choices for budget travelers

Stayed there for 2 nights, It was good and clean taking into consideration it’s price. They have 2 room classes one with an AC and refrigerator and the other without. And it’s location is perfectly situated in the “souq” or the center of the city.

Why stay in a hostel when u can stay in a decent hotel by the same price ?

Kelany hotel is a family owned hotel, run by very decent people (the father is a sheikh in siwa where people come to him to solve any problem they face between each others). The hotel is very nice with an ideal location in the middle of the main square in Siwa and they have a nice roof where you can chill while viewing the whole oasis. Rooms are very clean and has all what you need for a pleasent stay ; comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels, spacey rooms, nice bathroom, big balcony, televesion, air conditioner, and a big fridge (not a mini bar) and everything in the hotel looks brand new. Staff are very polite and helpfull from the owner to the house keeping, All this with an incredible price 150 egyptian pounds for a double room which is equivalent to about 8 euros. Highly recomended if you are coming to siwa.

it's reasonable for what you pay

a double room costs 50 Egyptian pounds per night which is less than 5 euros or 5 dollars , for the whole room. it's in the town center so you can easily find transportation to any place you want to go to.
it's very clean, but not all the rooms have a nice terrace view.
a room with AC costs 25 Egyptian pounds more.

Clean motel exactly in middle of downtown

I stayed for 3 days in kelany motel which was a good place with good clean rooms and very nice roof which is amazing place to enjoy your night where u can enjoy chali siwa view.
The location of the motel is exactly in the middle of the downtown which makes it very easy to move aroud the oasis
