Stayed in Siwa twice it is that good!
Constructed into the wall of Shali Fortress using local materials called kerchief the roof of the hotel held up by palm trunks. Staying here is delightful. A generous breakfast is served in the public lane that runs through the middle of the hotel. There is a rooftop lounge area with an interesting collection of books and as always at Siwa the view from here is stunning. The hotel staff can arrange daytrips if needed. My room did not have air conditioning (only a fan) although that was not needed since I visited both times in winter. A truly unique experience. I loved the hotel so much and Siwa in general that I traveled across Egypt twice to stay it is that good.
