Worth checking out!
I loved my stay at Sobantu guest farm. The staff are friendly and so kind. The place boasts a fully licensed bar, a restaurant and all the amenities a family would need, with even DSTV and WiFi. You can arrange all sorts of activities through the managers. Afternoons look like rolling continuous mountains, an ice cold Sibebe beer on the porch in pure peaceful serenity.
Maguga dam, mololotsha, and Mbabane are close by. I will definitely be heading back!

Great stay
Sobantu is a peaceful place to be. Nice clean smart rooms. Welcoming staff. Rocky mountains view and nice food from restaurant. Their accommodation is affordable and surely won't regret your stay. There is also a bar equipped with pool table and table soccer to pass time if you happen to get bored.

Working at Sobantu volunteer project
In 2002 in Octobervand November I Had the pleasute to be at the Sobantu guest Farm.
I voluteered there, our Task was ist to built the gute and to Establishment a permacultural Garden.
The locals worked Side to Side with US. A Brunch of English people, Dome German Sparking AS the Loved to live in my hometown Vienna for a while.
To make a Long Story short: the Farm and ITS Sightseeing, the Nature and especially the Africa siyvis Just smazing,all stuff members wäre nice to US and (WE cooles our good ourselves) the food was good.
Thema über die Not Care so much about US,more about His Profit and WE foundation Out,that stayibg there AS playing guess would have been more favourable than joining the Project where WE Had to execute heavy physical Work.
Then IT was so rural, so soooo rural,the next Telephone cell 45 min away.
I enjoyed my stay a Lot thought. An uniwue experience.
Southern African Sky Go ITS best.
In going Out,WE Had to Take a Cab and shared the Costa, 20 m to Mbabane.

Pretty good
If this is your first stop in Swaziland--as it was for me--the driveway from the main road provides an interesting introduction to the country.
I stayed in a single room in the main building. Wrap around windows, great views. Bathroom needs a bit of work, could stand to be cleaned a bit better.
Seems to be the local hangout too--pool table, satellite TV, bar downstairs. That's fine and I had a nice time chatting with the handful of locals who hung out on a Sunday evening.
That said, the focus seems less on the traveler here than on the local. The guest kitchen--which I didn't use, only looked--was dirty and in need of a real clean job.
Nice deck area, friendly dogs hanging around. I had dinner which was quite tasty considering the location.
When I first arrived a couple local guys and their female companions chatted me up. Eventually they wanted me to buy them beers in the bar. I declined. When the manager told them to leave unless they bought something, they decided to come to my room and inquire again about buying them some beverages lest they be kicked out. I was not a fan of this guy being allowed to walk upstairs and knock on my bedroom door. That should not happen.
Dudu was friendly and helpful throughout. I'd stay again.

A must stay in Swaziland!
Love this place! We stayed here for two nights before heading to the Kruger and it was an amazing experience.
Meeting the staff and people at the farm was like making new friends. We had never been to Swaziland before and the people of this country are so happy and friendly. The price is so good too. We stayed in one of the huts, and they were clean and comfortable and it's easy to walk to the main house on your doorstep to access the main facilities like the bar and the kitchen. If you're in to sports you can also watch the tv there as they have dstv and it was a great day as Liverpool lost 2-0 to Hull, haha!
It's also so easy to get around to other parts of Swaziland from here if you have a car. We took a day trip to the cultural village, which I highly recommend, and also the nature reserve where you can see amazing views of the beautiful Swaziland countryside.
