Pleasant stay

I had a short stay to try the hotel. My room was on first floor a suite. My room was big and well maintained. Excellent wi fi speed and easily logged in also nice view with a balcony to open with two chairs where i had my first coffee with a nice view. I had a very pleasant stay. All the staff we encountered were very polite,friendly and very professional. Breakfast was limited option to order and it was very nice and fresh. The location is great walking distance to bole area. We will definitely stay again.

Noise

The hotel is very close to the city. It a 5 min walk to the taxi station in wuha lemat (sami building). I with my wife, stayed for more a week and we coukd not sleep at night because of the oise coming from the street. On top of that the breakfast is very limited. Its is always a crambled bread and local food (Injera). Next to that the vath room was not properly maintained. Tthere was no toilt seat amd when you take shower, water is sprinkled everywhere. We changed room and this time the bed makes noise when ever we move. It was not comfortable at all.

Small hotel but very homely. Walking distance to city centre

This hotel is quite small and so it feels very much like a home, which I found to be a nice thing. Its a bit out of the city centre and so the noise level is considerably down. The reception staff are very friendly and can communicate well in English. Walking to the city centre took me about 25 minutes which saved me having to hustle with non-english speaking cab drivers

Outstanding

Melodie Hotel is a really nice place to stay in Addis. Been here several times and it feels like home. It's a rather familial place, clean, with spacious rooms and good breakfast. The airport is only 5minutes by car

Exceptionally clean, classy furnished

Rooms are huge and very clean, very comfy beds, each room comes with a balcony and specially to mention: really friendly staff. Close to the airport but still comparatively calm at night's. Pancakes for breakfast: yummy!
