What a wonderful find in Addis Ababa! We are a family of 4 who stayed at Zemillo for 4 nights while visiting Addis and absolutely loved it. The hotel is close to the airport and conveniently located in the city, the room was meticulously clean and spacious, the buffet breakfast was delicious, and the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. We recommend staying at Zemilo without any reservation!

A bitter ending

I wanted to write a positive review. Although the apartment was nice and the staff were helpful our stay was ruined when we realised that items had been stolen from the room on our last day. This happened because I left the room to be cleaned and went to the coffee shop downstairs. Whilst there I told the staff it was my last day. It was the only day I forgot to lock the safety box when I went out.
Upon arriving at the next hotel and unpacking we realised that items were missing. Sadly this was personal items of sentimental value that had been taken.
We contacted the reception but they did nothing to help, defending the cleaners. There is no CCTV in the rooms so there is no proof of what happened but we know.
I had booked to come back at the end of my trip but have now cancelled and will never return

The hotel staff kept asking how much I paid and told me they didn’t see my payment, saying I had to pay again. They kept calling me while I had a 14-hour flight, so I couldn’t sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Well the rooftop can give you a good runway view or the Bole airport. So it’s highly recommended if you want to see the airport from that angle.

Best Hotel to Stay in Addis Ababa

This is a great location right next to Bole Addis Ababa International airport. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds, housekeeping was adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very happy with there service and location. They provide free parking, free Wi-Fi, kitchen and Laundry service. This hotel apartment is ideal for long stay, business trip and family holiday.
