Seabean Hotel Axum

We really liked this hotel. It was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable for both of us. The around the hotel was excellent for walking and checking out local restaurants. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. The breakfast was good and contained many choices.

The experience after the conflict

Very clean hotel and the staff at the reception are vary good welcoming! The hotel are busy with NGO groups of people.
Breakfast requires serious improvement, and staff at restaurant has no decent knowledge of customer service.

Pretty Decent

Stayed here for 1 night while in Axum. The room was pretty dated and small especially for 2 pax but fairly clean. The beds were also small especially if 1 is bigger size. Breakfast spread was just average as well.

Awful hotel

Spent 2 nights here. Real shocker of a hotel. Room is small, Bathroom dirty. No fans or AC and no flyscreens so the rooms are beyond hot. Dont expect a smile from the staff. Food is terrible (I got sick one night) and drinks overpriced. It is right in the middle of the main street of Axum but that's about the only saving grace. This large city needs better hotel options!
