Great stay in Bahir Dar

Nati is an exceptional guide and friend. During my stay at Manuhie Backpackers, he arranged everything I wanted—city tours, cultural evenings, and even he books our flight back to Addis. Nati’s dedication made our trip unforgettable. Thank you, Nati!

Excellent host!

Nati is an excellent host annd manager, and he goes above and beyond to help guests plan their trip and enjoy their time in Bahir Dar. Manuhie is a great place to stay on a budget. Central location and east walk to other places in town. It is a backpackers style hostel, so check your expectations. Plus, this place (and many accommodations in this region) are recovering from years of covid, conflict, and no tourism, so they are slowly getting back on their feet. Regardless, we (3 ladies) felt very comfortable and safe during our time, and we’d encourage anyone to go and enjoy Bahir Dar and the surrounding area! We planned our logistics and two trips through Nati, including a day trip to Blue Nile Falls and a day spent on Lake Tana. The tours were planned perfectly and we enjoyed every minute! Nati showed us around the local fish market and acquainted us to the delicious local food. Even if you don’t stay at Manuhie, I’d encourage you to plan your trips through Nati.

Best man in Bahir Dar

Nati is the man. Incredible individual. Arranged any and all things I wanted to do. Drove me around town, took out for a bit of the culture at night. Even searched across town on his own time to find me an adapter for my electronics. Showed me his gym and his father drove me to the next town at the end of my stay. I consider him a friend and look froward to introducing my wife to him when we head back. Thanks, brother.

Excellent host

Nati is a welcoming host and a very good manager. Our experience is that he goes above and beyond to help his guests with everything from tour information to getting the right bus to Gondar. He sends helpful messages to you each day via whatsapp to check if everything is ok.
The backpackers itself is quiet and friendly and our room was very large and functional. This is an great place to come and explore Bahir Dar.

Comfortable stay!

We had a lovely chilled time in manuhie backpackers. Nati was very helpful and organised tuk tuks for us to get into town and anything we needed. Beds were comfortable and mosquito nets provided.
It is a bit further out of town so it is much quieter. Thank you!
