Comfortable and Clean

If you ever in Jimma, this hotel is a good choice.
The new building has amazing rooms and very spacious. The staff are friendly and very helpful when asked where to go and what to see.
Highly recommend.

Is the diesel so expensive or they are just greedy?

Good location and rooms were OK but this hotel has management problems. When it become blackout in the night they just neglect until 7:30 AM to start generators and sorry for restaurant staff hardly to finish preparing breakfast on time. Is the diesel so expensive or they are just greedy?

Returned several times to this hotel in Jimma

Having stayed in many different hotels in Jimma over 40 years it was nioce to see that Central Jimma Hotel is now a very good choice. The prices are moderately high for the good rooms in the compound, not high for the rooms facing the roads along the facde of the hotel, but they are very noisy until the early morning. In a place with so many streams, lakes and ponds as Jimma, I was slightly surprised to find that the water was turned off in the night. The restaurant was really good.

Good restaurant, do not know about the hotel as I stayed elsewhere!

Nice outdoor restaurant, we had Ethiopian traditional food.The service was fast, nice and the restaurant has a safe location within walking distance from the bus station. Seems to be popular among "ferenjis". Around 500 birr for 4 people. We sat by a swimming-pool.

What a place to be !!!

Travelling by bus around 350 KM from Addis Ababa capital city of Ethiopia and entering Central Jimma hotel is like entering a paradise, starting from the gate all staffs welcoming guests with heartwarming smile, the rooms are clean, the service excellent, Swimming pool is good and restaurant food is great. I love the time we spent there. Some facilities are under progress like Spa,Gym…. Still Central Jimma hotel worth “Excellent” rate
