Couldn’t recommend this dive resort more highly. Lovely property, comfortable and spacious rooms, great food, relaxed antmosphere, and the people were absolutely incredible—so friendly, so accommodating. The diving is extremely well managed and run, and the resort is conveniently located right across the strait from the main Rainbow Reef dive sites, so it’s easy to get there and back. Experienced, professional dive masters, and terrific diving. They also make it really easy to do excursions around the island, if you want to break up the diving. Overall fantastic place. No notes!

Amazing Dive Experience and Relaxing Stay
I recently stayed at Taveuni Dive Resort and had an unforgettable experience. The resort is perfectly located right on the water. The dive shop is exceptionally well-run - the instructors were professional, safety-focused, and made every dive both fun and educational. I saw reef sharks, turtles, and some of the healthiest coral I've ever encountered!
The accommodations were clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like gear-drying racks and outdoor showers. The staff were genuinely friendly. The owner, Karl, is on-site and provides personalized service. He even drives you to and from the airport. The food at the on-site restaurant was also excellent - fresh seafood and great desserts. I have a sweet tooth.
Between dives, it was easy to relax by the infinity pool or enjoy sunset drinks at the bar. The atmosphere was laid-back but well-organized. Massages were available for $100 Fijian for one hour. This is an excellent deal, so I had one every day without fail.
I'd absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for world-class diving with a personal touch.

Felt Like Home in Paradise
We spent five wonderful nights at Taveuni Dive Resort and absolutely loved our stay. The place is truly magical — beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, and a room that was spacious, well-furnished, and functional.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the diving team. Hal, our instructor, was phenomenal — patient, professional, and made us feel safe and confident throughout our very first dives. The whole team was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do.
The restaurant was another highlight. Every meal was excellent — fresh, varied, and prepared with care. Lisa, the cook, deserves a special mention for her passion and talent; you could feel the love she puts into every dish.
A big thank-you also to Karl, who was always attentive, helpful, and kind. The entire staff made us feel completely at home and turned our stay into an unforgettable experience.
We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine island experience with world-class diving and warm hospitality.

Heartfelt Hospitality and Spectacular Diving
We spent one unforgettable week at Taveuni Dive Resort in September 2025, and from the very first minute we arrived until the moment we left, we were cared for with such warmth and attention.
Upon arrival, we were greeted not with paperwork, but with fresh juice and tropical fruits – such a welcoming start to our stay. Our "bure" was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated with flowers, creating a true feeling of comfort and relaxation.
The food was absolutely delicious, always prepared and presented with such talent and care. We felt surrounded by loloma (Fijian kindness and love) both at the resort and during every dive trip.
The diving itself was spectacular. Each day, the team carefully chose dive sites to give us variety and the best possible conditions. Even when we returned to the same site, the underwater life was so rich and vibrant that it felt completely new. Between dives, we stopped in calm and beautiful spots to enjoy little feasts: sweet and juicy pineapples, homemade pastries like muffins, and even traditional Fijian pancakes with mango jam – a real treat on the boat.
It is important to mention that this is a small resort, which is exactly what gives it its charm and family atmosphere. With only a limited number of bures, you never feel crowded, and it is easy to get to know the staff and other guests. Of course, being small also means there are some natural limits: you won’t find five different restaurants or evening entertainment shows like in big resorts. But honestly, that was part of what we loved – the quiet, the personal attention, and the focus on diving and relaxation rather than distractions.
