Give me 5min with a flipper and I'll show you what a data breach looks like
In short: They disregard and breach every single GDPR law and don't care at all. Angry and accusatory, no care for their guests wellbeing or comfort. Told me I could either do as they wanted or leave.
Some other reviews have called the hotel "cozy" but it's more ugly and old. Just more what I'd imagine when someone says "Sketchy motel" than anything. Worth mentioning is also that there's no free parking, at least provided by the hotel.
The "free parking" they're talking about are the parking spaces along the road and theres absolutely no guarantee you'll find a available one.
Threatened to call the police on me when I asked if I could be directed to where their ToS/GDPR policies could be found because the ones on their website are only concerning their membership program.
They had a really sketchy app on a Android tablet where they wanted me to fill in ALL my personal information. This is what the title is referring to. It's seriously unsecure enough that the title isn't hyperbole.
It's not in kiosk mode, you could easily tab out from the application and change it to something else. And of course run on WIFI without any proper encryption. Those who know they know.
When asked why they needed all this they saids it's to comply with Finish law, which is partly correct. Any hotel in Finland will ask for your private home adress. But they typically have clear guidelines on how they store this information and how long. They will also ask for some way to contact you.
However this information is only stored for a limited amount of time and subject to GDPR too.

Breakfast not great quality (hot foods), but had lots of variety.
Not great for big heavy suitcases, lots of steps and doorways where need to lift the suitcase. So not super accessible.
In summer take earplugs, there is some kind of a machine at the courtyard that is super noisy in the night, but in summer you need to keep the windows open because it's too hot. With earplugs you can sleep well. Otherwise the hotel is quiet.

Room: Decent, clean totally OK
Restaurant: Indian food good but the CUBE steak was awful. Avoid it. Dry as sandpaper even if I i wanted medium. No sauce neither...
