Great Hotel is a super location

Very well located hotel , good value for money , excellent staff . Book a room the main wing and through the hotel website . check in is at 4:00 pm and 20 euros if you want to have your room before that time . Rooms are basic but neat clean and comfortable . Bathrooms are small ( no shower cap and lotion ) We emailed in advance and asked for a room with good natural light and they gave us a room on the top floor with huge windows and a view of the city . Breakfast was very well arranged even though the number of people in each time slot ( you have to pre book your time ) is a lot !!! There is a live omletter staion , Fresh Juice Bar , waffle maker ... all which was unique to any other European hotel we have visited . Lots of hot options , breads , cheese , eggs, gluten free , dairy free. Overall we were very happy with this hotel

A stay in Helsinki, Marski Hotel

Overall, a very enjoyable stay located in the city centre. Couldn't ask for a better location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A wide-ranging breakfast and a good dinner menu with good food at suitable prices.

The design of the rooms do not have the persons living in them in mind - a huge piece of furniture dominates the entrance that is of little use, and cramps the room. The bathroom floods when using the shower, leaving the entire floor wet for hours. The towels need to be moved from the towel hanger before having a shower or the towels are wet. The faucet is placed over a metal cap, so when the water is turned on the water splashes on the cap over the person washing their hands and the entire area, so you cannot place anything on the entire washbin area. There is a master switch that turns almost all lights off, so it is all or nothing, no settings for half-light etc. Considering that Scandic Hub across the street is in the same price range and that it has one of the most well thought out designed rooms I've ever encountered, it is strongly recommended instead. A hotel should deliver a seamless experience for guests, this is not it.

Disappointed

This is not a 5 star hotel! Standard room reserved, no telephone in the room, no secure internet, electric outlets don’t have American plug orifice and front desk doesn’t have converter. Air conditioning is limited to their setting. Positive side the staff is friendly and the location is very good.

Fantastic stay in Helsinki

Excellent location, 300 meters from the central station and the market square, our room was spacious and elegant, equipped with every comfort. Also wonderful were the two saunas, the magnificent breakfast and even the actual art gallery. We have loved everything of this fantastic hotel and we really suggest it for romantic couples, families and group of friends 'cos it's perfect for every type of travelers.
