My new favourite hotel in Helsinki

Loved our stay in Grand Hansa. I value privacy and this hotel really has it. You barely met other hotel guests in the hallways. Hospitality is top class there and the service concept is well thought. Also, the breakfast is AMAZING - the best oat porridge I’ve ever tasted.

2 night stay

This new hotel in town was such a pleasant surprise. True luxury, with incredible dining, a beautiful spa and an interior to die for. It manages to feel luxurious without any of the stuffiness you sometimes associate with five star hotels.
I really enjoyed the beautiful premises, central location, peaceful atmosphere, the sauna and the ice pool at the spa, and, of course, the delicious food at the restaurant!
If you’re staying in Helsinki, spend a little more time here — you won’t regret it!

Premium room disappointing for a 5 star hotel. First allocation was an attic room with a skylight instead of a window. Second room we were given which we reluctantly accepted had a view of internal courtyard roof and was very dark. Roof top bar is inside rather than a roof terrace. Offered an upgrade to pay for on check in but as it was 2nd floor city view we declined due to traffic noise. Breakfast selection was good but service let it down - slow to take orders and clear tables. Outside Bar at street level a nice place to sit if weather permits. We were looking forward to staying and although the hotel itself is nice our room spoiled our stay.

Toothbrush and toothpaste were provided, rare in Finland. Room was specious and breakfast was awesome!

Always excellent and pleasure stay

The hotel is of excellent location with convenient and easy access to public transportation. The breakfast was super great with many different choices and options. The staffs were very attentive, helpful and friendly. I always choose this hotel when having the possibility and if I want to enjoy a weekend in Helsinki. Highly recommend.
