Lovely place considering its remoteness

Stayed with wife and baby as part of an extended family event where we booked out the entire hotel. A very enthusiastic and friendly owner and gorgeous Finnish lakeside. I was quietly impressed given this place is effectively in the middle of nowhere and quite far from any of the major cities. Our suite was also very large, could comfortably accomodate a family of 4 (one super-king bed and two singles on the mezzanine), with balcony, sauna and jacuzzi.

very nice place

Great place! Family managed little hotel with nice rooms, great lake view, tasty restaurant! Crawfish farm only one in Finland. Separate Scandinavian house on the lake absolutely comfortable place for meeting, team building, etc.

Classy

Good quality accommodation and good food in the middle of nowhere. Restaurant serves great food made from local ingredients only. Guests can also enjoy either Finnish traditional or smoke sauna, which is located close to the lake.

Good facilities

Beautiful spot by the lake! The rooms are clean and modern. Smoke sauna also great.
Customer service is something they need to improve. We travelled as a big group and weren't too profitable for them (this is what they said to us themselves). It was quite a downer realizing you're treated differently than other guests 'cause you don't make them so much money.

Nicht zu empfehlen! Wurde trotz verbindlicher Buchung abgewiesen!

Unseriös: Nach zweistündiger Anreise wurde ich trotz (per Mail bestätigter) Zimmerbuchung abgewiesen. Das Hotel sei im Winter nur für größere Gruppen buchbar und ansonsten geschlossen. Ich habe so etwas noch nie erlebt und halte das für ein inakzeptables dubioses Geschäftsgebaren.
Wir haben dann mit Mühe und Not per Internet noch ein Zimmer 10 km entfernt buchen können.
