Positive experience
The hotel is quite old and could use an update. However, everything was clean.
The room was quite basic, with old furniture, but overall it was functional.
The courtyard was pleasant and the swimming pool was clean and the water was warm.
The hotel provided free bicycles, which made it easy to get to the city center.
The breakfast was quite basic.
Free parking.
Not a luxury hotel, but a nice experience.

Good place to stay for a few nights
However the furniture is quite dated and the bathroom was also not particularly modern and there was no plug for the sink.
The breakfast was fine there was plentiful cereal, selection of bread, ham and cheeses. Plus hot scrambled eggs and sausages and bacon. Tea, coffee, fruit juices etc.
the hotel has a great location near to the ferry and the outside pool , would have been inviting if the weather had been warmer.
There was air conditioning in the room I was in but it could nt be controlled from my room, and it was nit particularly quiet.
It was a good place to stay for the 3 nights i was there and it was cheaper than the other options.
I was not there peak season , so I suspect it was a bit quieter.

Great Location, But Bring Your Own Oxygen and Towels
We were given a room in the attic, which I can only assume is where they send guests they really don’t like. It was an oven. No AC, barely any ventilation, and a tiny window that opened just enough to let in a single fly, who promptly died from the heat. The air was so stale I considered learning photosynthesis just to survive the nights. I ended up sleeping with the room door open like I was camping in a badly ventilated sauna.
As if that wasn’t enough, breakfast came with a complimentary side of moldy bread. The dining tables hadn’t seen a clean cloth in what I assume was decades. Hygienic standards? More like a social experiment.
And the towels—dear god, the towels. They smelled like they’d dried on a goat farm during monsoon season. I wouldn’t wipe a spilled drink with them, let alone my body.
If you’re looking for a centrally located place with a pool and enjoy breathing through a straw, this place might be for you. Otherwise, run.
(See the attached photos for proof I wasn’t hallucinating from the heat.)

HOTEL HELL
The room had a strong unpleasant smell and felt unclean upon arrival. There was no air conditioning, despite the hot July weather, and the towel dryer in the bathroom emitted constant heat, worsening the room temperature. The main window could not be opened, there was only a tiny ventilation holewindow that was insufficient for air circulation. There was no fridge in the room. The bathroom towels smelled strongly( of dirty feet ) and appeared unwashed. We had to use our own emergency towels.
Breakfast & Hygiene Concerns; The food smelled old, and mould was found on the bread. No utensils were provided for serving bread, leading to guests handling it directly. The towels covering the bread were visibly dirty and smelled mouldy. The staff member attending the breakfast area was repeatedly coughing near the food.
In summary, the hotel has no hygiene standards.
