Good experience

Nice, clean, affordable hotel. A/C in the room. Service was very good. Check in easy. Plenty of car park spaces and car charges as well.
Slight problem with the room was fixed promptly.

Don't go anywhere near the EV chargers. You have been warned!

This hotel, ideally placed for touring the Somme Battlefield is pretty much what we all expect of the Ibis brand. Clean, attractive, excellent staff, pretty much perfect except for what it ended up costing me.
I used the destination chargers in the car park to top up my EV overnight. It accepted my Jaguar Charging Card without any issues, though connection was a bit flaky.
All was good until I got home and found that for the 32kWh I had uploaded, I had been charged the euro equivalent of £136.
Not happy about this I contacted Accor. I have been a member for more years than I can recall, they were pretty unhelpful and referred me to the Hotel.
The Hotel responded promptly but said effectively "Nothing to do with us guv, talk to the charging company"
I talked with the charging company and got the Gallic shrug "Go to talk to the Jaguar Card Company." completely ignoring the fact they had billed Jaguar Charging £4.45 per kWh uploaded.
I am still talking with the card company, but they are basically saying "We have to pay what is billed."
It was a great Somme trip to commemorate my Uncle who died there 110 years to the day. It was ruined by the sour taste left in my mouth by the hotel and the EV Charging company.

Sober but solid

Decent hotel, a typical Ibis with all the necessary comfort without frills. Also the breakfast was very decent (although some replenishment may be needed once the groups are gone). Also the restaurant was a good experience.

Great location

Great stay for visiting the Somme. Rooms basic but clean. Beds not the most comfortable. Functional bathroom. Plenty of parking. Evening meal at the restaurant was really nice.
