Great price and a lovely and helpful proprietor. To the people giving this hotel a bad review: if you want luxury, pay for it. There are no stairs and it's a three story building - this is publicised, so why complain? It's only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The place is quirky and dated but that is it's charm. Highly recommend. Will be returning.

Excellent Value for Money

A group of 6 of us stayed at Le Hussard for two nights, using it as a base to attend the MotoGP at Le Mans.
Le Hussard has a 2 star rating, but should be regarded as a high 2 stars. The building is a little tired, but our rooms were clean and beds comfortable, being freshly made up the following morning.
The hotel proprietor was the perfect host and he could not have done more for us.
Breakfasts were served at whatever time we requested, the bread and croissants were the freshest I've had in a hotel, and plentiful coffee was provided to whatever our preferred tastes. In terms of value for money, this hotel is hard to beat. We're already considering next year.

Excruciating place
It is mostly dirty and very old, to the point of being repulsive.
The boss refuses any commercial gesture because he is mistaken on the pretext that he had to refuse customers when his slum is almost empty.
No garbage can in the room no coffee table, etc.
Run away!

The hotel was ok, could do with an update. The beds were spotless and the owner/staff member couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful.

No lift in the hotel
