We would take the trip there again and again.

Once again, we had wonderful days at the Clos de la Garde with the excellent host and his well-behaved, friendly dog, Charlie. We were able to brave the intense heat perfectly, because not only are the famous castles made of thick white and therefore cool stone, but so are the buildings here, which score points with the best amenities and, for example, an absolutely back-friendly bed. Added to this is the garden/park with shade-providing trees.
The table d’hôte on the terrace was a poem once again, as was the ever-changing Epine for the aperitif or the morning jam variations.

A lovely rustic property, very comfortable accomodation and a wonderful host.

Manfred was a very welcoming and generous host who has very comfortable, modern accommodations and is developing his substantial property, with some hidden 'gems' on it.

Holiday with addictive potential.....,

This is the fifth time we have visited this charming chambre-d'hôtes. The two suites and the deluxe double room, old building fabric paired with modern elements, are superbly appointed and leave nothing to be desired. Free parking is available on the protected property. The wild enchanted garden invites you to relax and discover the flowers, vegetables, herbs and fruit varieties. All products are used as homemade jam at breakfast or in the optional evening menu along with corresponding wines. The latter should not be missed. Just starting with an aperitif in the historic wine cellar is an experience. Thank you, Manfred, for your excellent hospitality. See you again soon!
