Lovely space and great hotel
We stayed here for 5 days. A great hotel with nice service, good food and drinks, clean and nice. At the reception there is a bakery with something for everyone and you can also sit and eat there. The bar outside had delicious drinks and cold beer. There is outdoor serving for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a pool outside with sunbeds and umbrellas. Not so big but nice. The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent as it is located about 5-7 minutes from the old town which is incredibly beautiful. It is also very close to the lake. We who like to walk walked just right across the road and down to the lake with great trails for both walking and cycling

Great hotel
Le pelican hotel - very comfortable hotel with great proximity to the lake and the old town. The pool area was lovely and we appreciated the bakery onsite and the ability to fill water on a constant basis.
Location = everything was with a short walk
AC = okay but seemed to have a fixed temperature you could go down to
Bed = yes comfortable
Power Sockets either side of the bed = Yes
Socket near a mirror for hair dryer = Yes
Shower = good shower
Room = nicely decorated
Value for Money = you are paying for location and the facilities so I was very happy with this hotel
Water = Refill stations on every floor
Wardrobes = plenty of storage

This is a very convenient location, by the lake with and a short stroll to town.
Rooms were well appointed and very clean. I appreciated the still and sparking water fountains on each floor, with reusable bottles available.
Underground parking was very helpful, staff let us park after we checked out for a time, as we went back into the town.
Pool and patio areas are lovely and the cafe had all we needed (we didn’t make it to the first floor restaurant).
Staff were very friendly and helpful, gracious with my limited French and switched to English as needed.

Room was clean and ready (but small as advertised) and the location is great for strolling into iconic old town. Arrived during an unusual heat wave and the AC in the rooms are capped at 74 degrees which is hard to be upset about but with a baby wanted more ability to cool the room down a bit more. Left overall satisfied but the little things like having to fill up our water bottles or alert the front dest staff upon each entering and exiting from the property (especially when they were busy checking in guests) made it feel more of a 'utility stay' than a resort.

We had a lovely stay at The Pelican and there really wasn’t anything to fault. So well positioned to walk into the old town its location is definitely its draw but the hotel stands up on its own too. Lovely reception area with friendly staff. The room was immaculate and styled beautifully. I didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food but the restaurant and menu did look amazing if on the pricey side.
Pool was probably smaller than I imagined but it was never very busy and we visited in prime time August and could usually get a lounger with ease.
The hotel is on the more expensive side but it did feel well worth it and the family room with mezzanine level was perfect for our needs especially having 2 areas to get ready with teen girls.
I’d definitely recommend the hotel as a place to stay and would happily revisit
