small family hotel with good value for money

Small family hotel. Simple bedroom and bathroom in unison, separate WC.
We were made very welcome in this hotel located on the main street. Public and free parking lots are nearby. You are in the heart of the center with restaurants and shops nearby. simple breakfast but perfect for the price. Here you will find an inexpensive, sober, local hotel with a charming welcome for excellent value for money.

Disappointing

Hotel that really needs a good refreshment. Ceiling and walls of the room really not sharp. Bedding is not very young and pillows really dirty. Also the property is near a bar , unable to close an eye due to the noise until 1 am. The only positive is the breakfast which is very decent considering the price

Passing through Aubusson

Small vintage Pension very simple and well located in main street and very clean. Welcome and hearty breakfast. Really cheap. Pets are allowed at no additional Award. No problem parking, parking nearby. I recommend

Very friendly and reasonable

Needed a reasonable priced place in the centre of Aubusson and this place fitted the bill perfectly. Right on the main street this is a cafe bar downstairs with a few basic rooms upstairs. This is no Hilton, but the owners are lovely people, very friendly, the location is great, the rooms and bathrooms are small but clean and for the price you just can't find complaint. Heard very little noise from the bar downstairs and as we were on the rear of the building, little street noise, so if you want the genuine French experience instead of corporate uniformity, this is it. Lovely little town out of season, so easy to park right outside the hotel, not sure how easy it would be in the Summer months. A few cafe bars and restaurants, within a short walk, but nothing what you would call chic or trendy - proper rural Limousin.

No Problem!

Booked via internet based on price (€41 + €6 breakfast) and got a clean and reasonably sized room in a busy town centre economy hotel. Certainly a very reasonable stop over in this nice little town. Found other good local restaurants to stroll to.
