Overall value for money is very poor!

This establishment calls itself a *Guest House*... The play on words with *Maison d'Ault* is well thought out, but it is by no means a guest house. It is a hotel with a rather cold welcome. Certainly, the location and view are exceptional, but the dining experience does not match the site. The value for money of the dinner is very poor: no appetizer, ordinary fish (cod) that is barely cooked and almost cold, careless service, on a plastic placemat with a piece of tissue as a napkin! All of this for €55 (including Portuguese wine, it is true), with payment requested in cash... On the accommodation side, comfortable bedding but a cramped room with no shelves or storage, nor any extra seat or armchair for a high price. In short, the whole experience leaves a very bad impression and the overall value for money is poor, even scandalous. This establishment calls itself a *Guest House*... No friendliness, flee the gift card

Pleasant room but icy Welcoming and no conviviality.
Do not buy overnight stays as gift cards, they are sold at a high price and no compensation if you use them in low season.

The sound of the waves!!!!! their perpetual movements.... enough to "rinse" the mind for a long time and forget the rest ...

Very nice location

We stayed one night: the sea view situation is ideal. Parking is accessible and convenient. When you arrive, the place looks more like an empty hotel than a guest room. No one lives on site, you have to phone the owner who comes quickly. The place is neat and well equipped. The bedding is comfortable. Breakfast is very good.
Only downside: the room is really small, no wardrobe or furniture to store clothes. We could not have envisaged a long stay for this reason.
