This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone).
The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is.
It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time.
Very pleased with our stay and would recommend.

Poor check in experience.. arrived at 3pm.. offered twin room on ground floor when we’d booked a double & sent email asking for ground floor but was told all ground floors taken.. then offered a twin room ground floor.. shutter wouldnt open, smelt bad of smoke/tabacco, shower room mouldy and paint peeling.. i when back to reception complain and ask for another but double room on ground floor & after 10 mins standoff he found one.. well whilst was clean, bathroom was mouldy lots of flaking paint and rest of room paintwork poor. Internal door wouldnt shut so we felt abit unsafe.. we chrcked out at 7.30am as didnt want to stay another minute! We didnt bother to complain to reception again due to poor experience at checkin. Since leaving we have seen a long history of poor reviews on different websites for similar issues!! But also some good.. ours sadly was not a good experience!

Great hotel, clean, quiet and convenient.
Well located for walking and cycling.
Good breakfast buffet which was available from 0630
Friendly helpful staff.
