Not to be missed. Pleasant and well-located.
Stay at the end of April, beginning of May 2026. We were very pleasantly surprised by the interior beauty of the hotel, which reflects on the staff. All very welcoming, warm, caring, attentive, patient, smiling, and good at giving advice. There is a sense of team cohesion, which is rare.
Our ground floor room by the lake was perfect, sufficiently large, renovated, with a beautiful clean bathroom, and a very large shower for people with reduced mobility. Bedding is large and very comfortable, large flat screen, absolute tranquility.
Accepting dogs is a great plus, and there were several, including our two pups: one spitz and one Cavalier King Charles. There was no barking and no disrespectful people regarding this matter.
The lake is right next door, which allows for a nice walk in the morning, and at sunset, it is beautiful.
We had the honor of being able to eat on-site (yes, the service was very pleasant, and it was quite new: dining options included pizzas, salads, lasagna, Croque Monsieur with salad, etc., and the homemade dessert was excellent). The breakfast is worth its price, featuring fresh bakery bread rather than industrial bread, various pastries, fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt, applesauce, fruit coulis, cereals, sandwich bread, and pancakes... a delight. And of course, milk, coffee, decaf, and teas....
Breakfast until 10 AM is perfect when you are on vacation.
The reception, lounge, and restaurant are decorated with great taste and personalized (you do not feel like you are in a chain of identical hotels), creating a warm atmosphere. Large flat-screen TV, big table with the possibility to connect your computer or other devices, games, books, information documents about regional outings..., restrooms available (which avoids going back to the room)... sofa, and armchairs around a very friendly table.
Bar and restaurant open all day and night (a big plus).
Outdoor area with tables, small garden lounges, all set in greenery and tranquility.
Large parking lot, which is not negligible.
I highly recommend this hotel at the entrance of Autun near the lake (coming from Beaune or Chalon-sur-Saône) and thank the entire team (day and night) because our stay was a truly wonderful moment of well-being.
We will return soon with great pleasure.

Hotel borderline in terms of room hygiene
Moldy shower, smelly bath towel, general cleanliness of the room really average and no toilet brush... The reason is COVID!
Unpleasant smell in the room! On the other hand, a positive point is a nice breakfast buffet and staff overall pleasant.

Thank you the pill!!
Hotel under renovation. Room without possibility to adjust the heating. Not isolated. Cold white tiled PMR bathroom looks like a hospital in the 70s. Comfort of an ibis budget for 95 euros with the ALL discount. Only breakfasts and night staff catch up. Cardboard manager! who explains that the hotel is under renovation and that it is necessary to rent even the old rooms. Thanks for the customer.

Good but not exceptional
We booked for 2 nights and requested a room on the ground floor since there is no elevator. We had a PMR room so quite large.
The night was quiet despite the proximity of a road and shelter workers who left early in the morning. A nearby lake adorns the view of the upper town. Breakfast is classic without more. The welcome is nice and helpful. The building is still of an older generation and may not deserve to be classified in red.
