Beautiful stay

Nice historic hotel in the old post building (more of a relay for the stagecoaches). The whole thing has been renovated in an old style, you can discuss if you like it but it fits the style of the hotel.
Rear parking, coded access.
The room was large and equipped with all comforts. Very good bed, well equipped bathroom. Air conditioning, no background noise.
Staff were really very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was nicely catered for. You can sit inside or outside.
There is a beautiful restaurant attached to the hotel: Le 1815. We enjoyed a very nice dinner there, one should get a Michelin star.
Price along the higher side but it's worth it.

A restful stop in the Morvan

Very beautiful rooms: spacious, decorated simply but with taste. No unnecessary frills, it is restful.
Perfectly quiet.
Very courteous, available, pleasant, accommodating welcome.

The restaurant well deserves a Michelin star.

An absolutely remarkable stop! This former coaching inn has kept all its historic charm while offering impeccable modern comfort.
Our room was spacious, absolutely clean, and very quiet.
The welcome is warm and the staff is very attentive.
A big favorite also for the hotel restaurant (the 1815), which offers a superb culinary experience..
We recommend it with our eyes closed.
For those who love history, this hotel is colossal. Founded in 1707, the ex-Hostellerie de la Poste is a monument of French gastronomy:
It is here that the legendary chef Alexandre Dumaine earned his 3 Michelin stars (making the hotel the most famous table in France in the 20th century), and it is indeed here that the great Bernard Loiseau
cut his teeth and began his career,
The hotel hosted Napoleon I in 1815 (which inspired the name of the restaurant).
Marie and Regis. Once again, you can go with your eyes closed.

Delicious, an explosion of flavors and impeccable service

The Discovery menu lives up to its name; it takes us on an extraordinary culinary journey. Bravo to the Chef, his team, and the servers who were so attentive. We will be back.

Napoleon knew where to be!

A very tasteful decor with spacious, cozy and clean rooms. The hotel must be "heritage." The kitchen is very good with tasty menus and suggestions. The service is very correct and friendly. Highly recommended. We'll be back
