This hotel is currently a building site

This hotel is currently a building site. Having booked through the B & B App, we were very disappointed that nothing was said about the renovations taking place. It is unsightly and, although the drilling and banging did not start until 9 am, it was loud.
The property is like an American motel; 2 storey with a large window across the front of the room. Sadly, there is no net curtain on this window, so in order to prevent the builders or other guests staring in, you have to pull the black out curtain and therefore the room is dark. There are only two pillows in the room, one each, the A/C is not great, and the shower door had a gap at the bottom, so water floods the bathroom floor when using the shower. Not the best..,

Close your eyes, it will be better

Bedding +/- comfortable but terrible room. More poyr way mount the shutter, desk lamp swivelling, the bathroom is filthy. Mould everywhere, shower joints, under sink, joints between floor tiles and disgusting walls.

B&B Avignon currently under renovation

We stopped over for one night. Pleasant welcome, brand new bedding super comfortable. Magnificent renovation in the reserved accessible room. However, it is a shame that it was not clean and/or washed upon arrival. A minimum should be done or a discount established for the inconvenience caused. Do not sleep later than 9 a.m. because the workers start again ...
Avoid wanting to watch TV, no connection established. Wi-Fi available in the room.
Otherwise, once finished, it will be beautiful in the end. Perhaps it would be better not to host guests during renovations..

Very big disappointment!

The hotel presented does not correspond at all to the photo.
The hotel is undergoing renovation, and we had the sad disappointment of finding ourselves in a room not deserving of the amount charged: air conditioning with infernal noise, dirty fan that didn't ventilate, faulty faucets, broken blind control, 80 cm mattress placed on a 70 cm box spring... precarious balance on the edge of the bed...
Breakfast is decent before 9:00 AM; after that, the buffet is almost empty. Very dirty dishes, whether it be the bowls, glasses...
We deplore the staff's laxity regarding our requests.
Very, very disappointed even though everything was advertised as being top-notch.

We did not stay here after check in. Not one member of staff was on site. We had to check in through a machine. When we went to the room it smelled of smoke, was not cleaned properly, there was bugs crawling over the bed. As soon as we saw this we left. And with the lack of staff we could not speak to anyone about this so we just left.
