Perfect for visiting the city.

The hotel is located in the heart of Avignon, which allows for exploring the city on foot. Arriving by car is a bit complicated because there is a barrier, but the city employee responded to me instantly on the intercom.
The establishment has been renovated with a strong focus on design: decoration around the theme of wine, warm atmosphere, a mix of old (historic building) and modern. It is a boutique hotel.
The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained. The breakfast is of good quality. The staff is welcoming, professional, and available. The atmosphere is pleasant, ideal for a cultural getaway in Avignon. There is no private parking. We parked in a nearby street (free after 6 PM).

Perfection

We booked this hotel on our way down south. I am a Best Western Rewards member and was thrilled to find something that looked modern. I was right - this hotel was an absolute treat. The check in was courteous and they offered us 2 drink coupons at the bar. The lobby doubles as a bar - it's very tasteful decorated. You also don't have to pass through the lobby to get to your room.
The rooms are beautiful. Old style building with gorgeous modern furnishings and a spacious, beautiful bathroom with a gigantic shower. The Chardonnay scented toiletries were a nice touch.
Breakfast was pretty good as well - they had full sized viennoiseries and even gazpacho! The personnel was lovely as well . The salle du petit-déj itself was gorgeous too.
We absolutely didn't want to leave. The front desk did give us an hour extra that allowed us to visit the Palais des Papes in the morning and to come back and shower after such a hot day before heading back to our car.
We will definitely come back. This, along with the Best Western Premier in Orange , is among my best BW experience.

Good location. Reception area uninviting and the decor of the whole hotel is unusual and dull. Staff at breakfast were very nice.

A very nice option in Avignon

We recently spent 2 nights at the Hotel while on an independent bicycle trip in Provence. We were greeted warmly on arrival and since the room was not ready, the very friendly front desk staff was happy to take our bags and kindly allowed us to use the restroom in the bar area.= to freshen up. (It was a hot day and we had been bicycling)
When we returned at 3 pm, the room was ready and they had already taken our bags to the room. The hotel is in a refurbished historic building and the rooms are all remodeled nicely. Our was a good size, the bathroom was totally modern, air-conditioning worked well (it was a hot week!), the windows blocked out all noise, wifi worked fine.
The breakfast buffet was very complete and the breakfast room was well-kept even with a lot of guests coming and going
The hotel location is great, just steps from anything you might want to do in Avignon. We would definitely stay here again.
