A good hotel in the center
A very well located hotel, close to the main attractions and the Train line. Clean hotel, very comfortable bed.

This hotel was extremely conveniently located for the old town of Avignon, and even though it overlooked the main square, was very quiet at night. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the staff were very helpful. It was lovely to have A/C during this hot weather so the bedroom remained cool and comfortable.

Super central but you can do better.
Hotel with no character, clean and spacious room but because we were in a quadruple room used as a double, tiny bathroom with a sit-in tub/shower. Breakfast just barely sufficient. Everything is, however, in line with the price.

A great hotel in the centre of Avignon
The hotel is in a great central location in the noisy main square but the room was completely soudproof. The beds were really comfortable and the breakfast buffet was varied with gluten-free bread supplied on demand. The AC unit was efficient but there was no way to turn it completely off (even setting it to the off switch) so had to sleep through the humming at night. There were a few negative aspects in that the coffee machine was broken as was one bedside light. Both were reported straight away but only the coffee machine was fixed and so spent a whole week without a bedside light. You will need to bring your own shower cap, hand cream and conditioner for the bathroom which was a bit disappointing. The availabiliy of a terrace was proudly mentioned to all guests on checking in but it was just a concrete-enclosed area with no view and filled with old furniture which was a shame. The staff were friendly and happy to let me practice my poor French but when one of the ceiling bulb's went, I didn't bother to report it this time. There was a very ungenerous supply of teabags and milk which was disappointing as it was nice to have a kettle and a fridge to use.
I would, though, recommend this hotel and hope that some improvements in customer care will be made in future.

I would go back
A week before our stay we were scanned out of 209 euros by a con man who had all the details of our stay ,so be careful of any requests for pre payment.Despite this We did enjoy our stay,great location ,nice breakfast and very comfortable bed.
