Charming

It's a hotel we've been to before. It is very well located, close attention, professional. The room is comfortable and spacious. Also inside has a small living room as an interior terrace that is very nice.

17th century classic building in the heart of the old part of Bayonne.

Nice hotel. Nothing fancy. Basic but clean. Location could not be better.
Great price! Internet worked perfectly on the top floor. Perfectly situated in the heart of the old part of Bayonne.
If you like chocolates, Port Neuf is the street for you. Various chocolate shops to suit your sweet tooth.
The hotel has no parking but there is a large VERY CHEAP parking lot about a 7 minute stroll away. We stayed overnight Sat-Sun and the cost was 4 euros. Enter Allee Paulmy into your GPS.
The cathedral is just up the street, visible from the window. The market is within spitting distance. Oysters with champagne. Good fun on Saturday.
We got the "superior" room which had, basically 2 double beds and a single. This room had the WC and shower in the room. Note, however, that this is an old hotel (building dates from the 17th c) and some rooms have to share the WC in the hall. Carefully read the description of the rooms before choosing.
There is no elevator.

Kitsch, 1970s style hotel

Situated in the heart of everything, this hotel reminded me of hotels I’d get taken to in the 1970s when I was a child. The decor is from then and is quite charming. The check in/dining room is really something to behold. Sort of place Marie Antionette may have dined in. Breakfast was average for €9. Rooms have fans not air conditioned, lack of plug points meant us using the plug for the tv to charge our phones. As said before it is an old building and the best value you may get in a non too cheap city/town. It’s kept clean and they are efficient with the cleaning.

Management horrible

Do not book rooms in this hotel ! The manager is certainly the most unfriendly and cold human person I had the displeasure to deal with in a hotel. I called them to explain that due to a broken back the day before, I could not come to the event for which I needed this hotel and send them the medical certificate to attest the issue. It was still more than 70 hours prior to the booking so ample time to get the room book again. Nonetheless, the manager bluntly refused to agree to any cancellation amendment or change or date. Despite tryingt o look for common solution, that person was very harshly telling me to pay and to not bother him anymore. I work and travel in all places in the world, rarely seen someone with such complete lack od humandly service but this one is defintily top 5 worst ! AVOID AT ALL COST !!!!
