Just spent our third visit to Le Jardin Secret. It gets better and better! Perfect apartment, perfect host and perfect town.

Le Jardin was Trés Bon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay at this wonderful place. The property itself is absolutely lovely. The outside gardens are gorgeous, and there is an outdoor pool as well, which we enjoyed as soon as we arrived, given a very warm day. Our room, although it really is a suite called “Passages”, was spacious and well appointed. It has a light and sunny fully equipped modern kitchen, dining table, and nearby comfortable sofa - sitting area. The bedroom is large, nicely furnished, with an exceptionally comfortable modern bed.
We appreciated the room had both sheer and blackout curtain options, and that the room was incredibly quiet the entire time. The suite is decorated throughout with lovely beautiful works of art creating a peaceful ambiance. It also has a private outdoor screened balcony which looks out over the pool and gardens, that we enjoyed with morning coffee, and with evening glasses of wine. We literally wished we did not have to leave on our final day!
Our hosts, Charles and Isabel, were kind enough to pick us up and drop us back off at the Beaune train station a few miles away. They were always available to render advice, suggestions or handle any needs we may have had. We greatly appreciated their prepared visitor binder in our room, of all things Beaune. It was a perfect guide to area restaurants, attractions, businesses, including all services you may need, and the respective hours and days closed. Lastly, this property is in an incredibly convenient location, literally a 5 minute walk, from the quiet interior gardens of Le Jardin Secret De Beaune, right into the heart of downtown Beaune.

Delightful Stay

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Jean-Charles was a wonderful host. He kindly picked us up at the train station and took us to our apartment, which was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. He the prepared us each a traditional Burgundian aperitif, a kir. It was quite nice. The location was perfect, easy walking distance to restaurants and sites. At the end of our trip we rented a car and enjoyed the private parking lot. We would stay there again.

Perfect stay with perfect host

We spent 4 nights at this lovely apartment on the ground floor. It is adjoined to a family house with a shared garden and swimming pool and looked after by the owner Jean-Charles, who is the perfect host. He speaks fluent English, super nice and ready to help out with any requests. The apartment has everything you need and is clean and nicely decorated. You can walk everywhere around Beaune and we would recommend you hire bikes and take a day cycling the Voie des Vignes to visit the vineyards and surrounding villages. You can also easily travel by train to many other towns such as Dijon and Lyon. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed! Remember to book your restaurants in advance as the good ones fill up very quickly!

A little jewel, a haven of peace

We come here almost every year since 2016. This place is absolutely charming. The domain offers 3 accommodations including the ground floor that we particularly like. The must? The tranquility while the place is located close to the center of Beaune, the pool and the ease of parking. Jean-Charles and Isabelle are hosts with whom we have made connections over the years.
The welcome is warm and professional, the place is quiet and impeccable cleanliness, the Value for Award is excellent because I do not think there is another place of this quality close to the city center.
An address we warmly recommend.
