Charming Guest House

Although we only stayed one night, we were so pleased we chose this unique guest house. The house smells amazing and rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and pastries. The hosts were attentive, but gave us enough space and privacy. Truly recommend this charming property.

Booking not honored

They take their bookings through booking.com and associated sites. On the last day I could cancel they sent me a note that ‘desole’ they had a ‘big fight’ with booking.com and had ‘closed their door’ to them. If I wanted I could keep my reservation if I paid them directly and cancelled my prepaid one with booking.com.

Great location with private parking close to centre Bergerac…no door on bathroom or locks on doors

Great location with private parking only 5 min walk to centre of Bergerac. Friendly welcome. Lovely big rooms with comfortable beds, colourful decor and great shower. Nice breakfast in pretty garden. Now for the unusual stuff……no door to en-suite bathroom, no locks on bedroom door…so if privacy is important maybe rethink. There is no flexibility to breakfast. It is 9am . We did ask for a little earlier as be had a kayak trip booked and it was a still no. Overall a quirky place, clean and friendly however bit strange if you are used to locks and doors

Wonderful

What a wonderful place! From the street the front looks dull but inside is lovely and colorful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The garden is beautiful. The hosts are friendly and pleasant. The breakfast is delicious and the little dog is beyond cute. A very short walk to a beautiful and interesting old town. We loved staying here and hope that we can again.

Lovely hospitality

Great place to stay near the middle of Bergerac - only a short walk across the main bridge into the town centre.As others have said, the front door gives little clue about what’s inside! My wife and I loved the quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. But the best thing about this place is the hospitality from our lovely hosts. This is their home and they welcome you into it while respecting your privacy. Would definitely stay again.
