Beautiful, peaceful rural setting with large garden. Pierre and Véronique graciously introduce you to their wide circle of friends and local contacts. Very friendly. Easy highway access to Strasbourg.

Our December 2016 Stay
This is a review I have posted elsewhere but remains true for this Gite Decouverte Alsace: Pierre and Véronique are wonderful hosts. We arrived late got ourselves lost several times. In the end Pierre came to meet us in Betschdorf and guided us to his place in Kuhlendorf. An in-house bottle of apple cider was waiting for us ( the next day was our wedding anniversary). Véronique and Pierre extended themselves to help us have an unique wedding anniversary, but my wife opted for a rather quiet low key celebration. Otherwise, Pierre has a long list of things to do in the area. A car is a must to get around easily. The lodging is well heated and well equipped for a comfortable stay in the winter. I absolutely highly recommend Véronique and Pierre's place; I hope my small family and I will be able to stay at the gite again in the near future. A small note: if you will be arriving late, make sure you have something already for dinner, or else make arrangements with Pierre and Véronique to have something for you (they are kind enough they might be able to take care of things if you give them enough notice); in any case, the restaurants and supermarkets, if still open, are in nearby villages. Kuhlendorf is a small village (population about 100); one can walk the entire length of the village in 6 minutes and the entire width in 2.5 minutes.

Lovely, peaceful and very relaxing
We had a great stay in the gite. It's the perfect place go get away from the city and to relax with friends. Both the apartment and the garden are lovely. Veronique and Pierre are prefect hosts (and they make the best tarte flambé )! The location is excellent, very peaceful yet close by a lot of tourist attractions. We certainly recommend the place!

Joli environnement
Joli environnement, jardin très bien entretenu, propriétaire très sympathique, ouvert et généreux.
Il manque cependant des choses essentielles au gîte (fer à repasser correct, planche à repasser digne de ce nom, sèche-cheveux)
Félicitations aussi à la dame qui s'occupe du ménage fait impeccablement. Cette dame, en l'absence du propriétaire, se décarcasse littéralement pour contenter les hôtes. Elle nous a apporté un pain excellent afin que nous puissions le goûter.

Nous vous remercions du beau commentaire. Nous sommes sans cesse entrain d'améliorer nos prestations. Même en notre absence nous faisons tout en la présence de Marcelle pour vous apporter une prestation irréprochable. Nous mettons à disposition un fer à repasser, une planche à repasser et un sèche cheveux sur simple demande. Dans les jours à venir nous les mettrons dans les gîtes.
Nos efforts ont d'ailleurs été récompensés par la figuration dans le guide du routard.

Rapport qualité-prix imbattable !
Séjour du jeudi au mardi, mi-juillet… bien agréable de pouvoir réserver autrement que par semaine complète ! Bel accueil, bouteille de jus de pomme maison et contact très agréable avec le couple de propriétaires qui habitent sur place (pratique !).
Belle maison entourée d'un vaste jardin bien entretenu. Équipement de qualité et complet. Possibilité de prendre son repas sur un grand balcon couvert. Parking privé. Rapport qualité prix excellent pour le gite avec trois chambres que nous avons réservé. À conseiller. Propreté impeccable comme c'est de mise en Alsace !
