Room allocated stinking of cigarettes
Room change but this was not cleaned

Can only recommend for a one night stay as part of f. ex. your stop between Nice and Paris.

BED BUGS
From 12 to 16 July, we stayed at the Ibis Budget Hotel in Beynost with my colleagues as part of our work. The establishment hid the ongoing bedbug infestation from us and let us stay there knowingly. They only confessed to the facts once the bugs were transmitted. 9 months later, they still haven’t compensated me. My entire apartment, my belongings, my colleague’s apartment, and my workplace had to be disinfected by professionals. I had to move. I had more than 3000.- in expenses. FUYEZ

Needs improvement
The floors are extremely smelly, old carpet.
No soap next to sink to wash your hands, the shower needs new sealing as everything brown and toilet too (see photos).
Housekeeping entered my room while I showered although I had a „do not disturb“ sign outside the door!!! Not acceptable!
Breakfast was only till 9:30 and the poorest I‘ve ever experienced! Dirty glasses of marmelade/jam (see photos) and only 2 soft cheese options to put on my bread?!? Croissant tastet very dry and the coffee was terrible. Couldn’t drink it!
At 9:25 the buffet was cleared by a lady and took away the tea bags while I was getting hot water for a tea. Not acceptable either to clean the buffet 5 min before closing while I‘m standing in front of it. Anyway as I could not enjoy the extremely limited breakfast and dirty tables around me (see photo) so I just left.
Luckily I found an amazing bakery next door where I had breakfast instead.
In general the hotel needs a better smell on the floors, new sealing in bathroom, soap for your hands, a working air con, more breakfast options, more attentive staff especially at breakfast and housekeeping and more cleaning outdoor as I took the outdoor stairs from the 4th floor and it’s totally full of spider webs and spiders!
