Cute hotel close to centre of Biarritz
We had a wonderful stay at hotel Jules Verne. The theme is lovely. Rooms are small but the beds, bedding and pillows were so comfy. Shower was fantastic.
Plenty of towels. Very quiet at night.
All of the staff we met were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was very good.
Maybe could have been a little more variety but everything was tasty and fresh. We loved the self made pancakes and fried eggs.
The pool area was very nice and the big grey fluffy towels were lovely. Bus stop around the corner to the airport is great and proximity to city and beach. Supermarket also around the corner is very handy.

One morning our daughter had oats with her breakfast and there were bugs in the jar and she was upset but this was swiftly rectified and an apology.
In the accessible rooms the wet room system is good but the water goes everywhere.

The hotel is well-located and the pool is nice.
On the other hand, the staff is not all that friendly. The rooms are tiny. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired; in the room, the floor is not cleaned, and there is no ventilation, so there is mold at the top of the shower. Regarding the outdoor area, when there is bird droppings, nothing is cleaned, so some lounge chairs are unusable. I find that really borderline, especially in the summer.
This is clearly not the standard of a 4-star hotel. This is not where you will find the best value for money, nor the standard of a 4-star hotel.

Beware car park only 1.7 meters height stayed their checked out today 6th July cost me £35.00 euros a day to park extra
Parking a nightmare staff rude and we seemed to be invisible because we were English £35 euros extra to park

We stayed at the hotel when it was the tulip it was the same better stay at best western in town centre 2 meters height stayed high parking

The hotel is great and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast is excellent and the decor is very fun and clever. The rooms are well configured, just small. We’re traveling for three weeks so were a bit overpacked but made it all work. It’s a quick walk to central town, which was great after dinner, and nice to be out of the hustle + bustle.

Excellent three-night stay; everything exceeded expectations with comfortable accommodations, attentive service.
I stayed for three nights in a quiet spot close to the airport, just a short ten-minute walk into town. The service was top-notch, with staff who were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and professional.
The room was beautifully presented and impeccably clean—many thanks to the housekeeping team. It featured a comfortable bed with cosy pillows, a powerful shower, and high-quality towels and bedding. My only minor gripe was that the rooms were a bit on the small side, but I totally get that it's a city hotel.
Breakfast was fantastic, offering a selection of local, high-quality products. The yoghurts, fruit juices, bread, and cheese were particularly delicious.
Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay in the stunning city of Biarritz.
