Horrible hotel

Completely seedy hotel: bed bugs in my room, clogged sink, unsanitary accommodation. I was offered to change rooms for another, just as seedy and disgusting. I am currently contacting them to obtain a full refund for my overnight stay, but I have no response from them. Avoid at all costs!!

The location was amazing, close walking yo many places and right near a tram stop that was very easy to use and get around in. There was no air conditioning and being on the 4th floor with 94 degree heat outside was too hot, even with the window open and the fans on. The shower was extremely small, even for skinny people, making it very hard to clean without either falling out of the shower or flooding the floor with water. I would still stay there again because the location and prices are still worth it.

Excellent value for money

Simple but centrally located hotel close to everything and even close to the bus stop to Saint'Emillion. The room was a bit small and no wardrobe with too narrow a shower. Great solution for a weekend in Bordeaux. Recommended

Ideally located near local transport, historical sites, eateries, bars, main shopping street and the river.
There is no reception desk on the premises; and you need to pick up the key from another hotel which you wouldn’t know as it’s not listed when booking. I was given my room key early at 1pm but when I went to the room, it had not been cleaned from previous use. I saw the housekeeper on the floor but she told me to call reception from my room by dialling 9. But, the phone in my room didn’t work, so I had to walk back to the other hotel to report it. Additionally, the electricity socket in my room was broken, and despite being told the maintenance man would come fix it, in the 4 days I stayed it wasn’t meaning I had nowhere to charge the phone unless I unplugged the tv on the wall. The furniture is very old, curtains have seen better days, and the bedding and towels are old and stained. The fire alarm went off at 11am on day 1 of my stay, and when I evacuated there was no one to help any of us. Despite the hotel saying it’s soundproofed, it is not. I heard the man next door’s every move, upstairs even worse, and next door the other side is a disco (Le Circle - next to the hotel) with thumping music until 5am. The heater in the room seemed to be pre 1990, it was so old and dirty and didn’t keep the room warm at all. The windows are not double glazed so there was draft coming through. View awful, nappies & rubbish strewn out the back. I would not recommend staying here.
