We were on the third floor up a steep and narrow spiral staircase which was not so good, but the hotel was very good value for money. Room had everything we wanted including effective air conditioning, breakfast was adequate and staff were helpful. Location is excellent in an old quarter with plenty of shops and restaurants, convenient for city centre.

Don’t recommend this budget hotel - avoid

Really poor experience.
1. The room was really small, hardly any room to move around bed.
2. TV was attached to the wall so you couldn’t move TV to face the bed, impossible to view properly.
3. With the exception of one lady, staff were unfriendly, taciturn, and unhelpful.
4. Breakfast was unstaffed self service, ran out of bread for those arriving late.
5. Worst of all, walls were paper thin, so you hear every noise, music from next room, doors banging, was kept awake constantly by external noises.
I’m generally pretty tolerant but wouldn’t visit here again. Went budget (it wasn’t that € budget), and regretted it

Good value for money

Priced at 105 euros (breakfast included) this small three-star establishment offers a very good value for money.In a stone building well located in a quiet street (parking nearby) you will be only a few minutes walk from the center of Bordeaux (Grand Théâtre, Place Gambetta etc...) and the superb docks. Our rooms were of a suitable size, the decor is nice and a priori recent, Cleanliness and comfortable bedding. Big screen TV appreciated. Functional bathroom and possibility of having a bedroom with separate toilet. For the view and clarity prefer the rooms overlooking the street. Breakfast includes all the essentials to start the day and is served until 11am on Sundays. Some nice little restaurants in the street where you can dine quietly.
Good for a short stay in Bordeaux

Disappointing

I am a regular at this establishment and have noticed some changes.
Plastic cups in dirty room.

Great location and hotel - will return if visit Bordeaux again

Great location in the middle of the Chartrons district, perfect base for exploring the city. Room was clean and had everything that we needed.
Reception and check in/out was easy and handy having a 2pm check in time on the arrival day.
I would stay again if visiting and recommend to others.
