Hotel was in walking distance of the Wine Museum and the Tram to get to Old Town. Staff was wonderful! Rooms were clean and comfortable and I would recommend if in Bordeaux!

Nice hotel, not so good house keeping
We stayed at this hotel for three nights in August. We did take the tram F and B from the airport in order to get to the hotel, which is situated a couple of kilometers from city center. Quick and informative check in. We were given a nice corner room on the third floor. The room had a large king sized bed, refrigerator, safe and air condition. We were asked if we wanted to not have house keeping for one night, which we agreed to and was given a voucher for a drink at the bar as a courtesy.
The breakfast was a nice surprise. Everything was very fresh and all the different food options we tried had high quality. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were very welcoming and attentive.
When it comes to the house keeping we found it to be very poor. We opted to pass the house keeping one of the days. The other day our room had been seen by the house keeping staff but there were some inadequate measures to be taken action on.
We had run of toilet paper and even placed the empty roll on top of the toilet lid in order to make it clear we needed toilet paper, only to discover we didn’t get any at all. The toilet couldn’t have been cleaned either.
The body wash container in the shower was empty at check in the first day, and was not filled at all during our stay.
We were only given one towel to use, which was strange as we were two persons in the room.
None of the bins in the room were empty during our stay, which also was strange.
The coffee cups were dirty already when we arrived the first day, so we didn’t use them of course.
Before checking out we checked if we had forgotten anything. We looked under the bed, only to discover that there hadn’t been any vacuum cleaning there for a long very long time. The carpet had a thick layer of dust under the whole bed.
We also noticed that other guest placed empty plates and garbage in the hallway after eating room service and fast food, and they were not removed after 30 hours.
To conclude:
- breakfast was super
- the staff in general were helpful and attentive
- the house keeping service was very poor.

A comfortable stay with beautiful river views
A comfortable stay with beautiful river views
A very pleasant stay overall. The rooms are particularly spacious and comfortable, and having a room overlooking the river adds considerably to the experience. The hotel is not located right in the heart of Bordeaux, so it may not be the first choice for those wanting to step directly into the historic centre, but the beautiful river views certainly compensate for the location.
The restaurant was a very nice surprise, offering a refined fine-dining experience with genuinely delicious food. Another highlight was the staff, who were consistently warm, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
Overall, a comfortable and well-run hotel with generous rooms, lovely views, very good dining and excellent service.

Find somewhere else…..
Location was okay. Car park a nuisance to get to. Room had one faulty bedside light and fridge did not work. Residents were supposed to get 10% off dinner at the rooftop restaurant where service was slow, tinned beer was lukewarm and staff indifferent. Billed full amount for dinner, complained and was asked for the invoice (which they had already sent me!). That was 3 weeks ago, haven’t heard back at all. All the above was mentioned in feedback so there’s no surprises there should they bother to read this
