La Cuvellerie is a beautiful and comfortable old estate in the quaint village of Narcy, close to the Sancerre wineries. Our host Marc was the kindest man, finding us an open restaurant when we we arrived late in the evening, helping us with our personal needs, even frying us eggs for breakfast. The rooms are quaint and comfortable, showcasing 300 year old construction techniques with hand-hewn beams and dowels. As with any old home, it has its charming ideosyncracies. An excellent breakfast is served in the guest house with plentiful coffee. Two friendly cats share the property. We were the only guests for part of our midweek stay, but by the weekend they had a full house.

Stunning

We had a very pleasant stay at La Cuvellerie. The place is magnificent, the house has a lot of charm and the family suite that we occupied with the children is very comfortable.
A big thank you to Françoise and Marc for their warm welcome and their kindness.
We can't wait to come back!

Easter discovery weekend

Excellent welcome as well as a superb suite.
At the same time, we did the “discovery of art framing” workshop with the owner. It was a treat and we left with a splendid memory.
Highly recommended.

The room was spacey, build in an old barn. very rustic
