What a disappointment
An unfortunately very disappointing experience, especially considering the price of €1,600 per week.
Upon our arrival, the welcome was almost nonexistent: we were simply given our chalet number and then had to fend for ourselves. No real introduction to the campsite, how it works, the facilities, or the activities offered. We had no introduction to the campsite staff or the various service providers.
Regarding the activities, the program was supposed to be presented on Monday morning. In reality, the service providers were present as early as Sunday evening to present their activities, without us having been informed. This really gives the impression of having to discover things by chance.
The campsite promotes an experience close to nature, but we found that this aspect was ultimately little exploited, especially for children. We would have appreciated more activities around the mountains, glaciers, water, biodiversity, ecological issues, and, more broadly, questions related to our environment and our current society. Yet there was real potential to offer an educational and fun experience around these themes.
The condition of the pool area is also very disappointing, with wooden areas that clearly need to be maintained and cleared of certain elements that give an impression of neglect. This would really deserve a refurbishment.
As for the accommodation, we were very disappointed. The “chalet” looks more like a very low-end mobile home covered in wood than a real chalet. Furthermore, the accommodations seem to be installed very close together in order to fit as many as possible on the land. Result: we have a direct view into the interior of several neighboring chalets, which is a shame, because the park and its environment are actually very pleasant and could be much better utilized.
Finally, the lack of friendliness of the staff particularly struck us. Few “hellos,” no real exchange, and never the slightest question to find out how the stay is going. Even at the time of departure, no special attention: we are simply left to drop off the keys in the chalet.
It’s really a shame, because Huttopia conveys an image of nature, simplicity, friendliness, and disconnection, and we expected to find these values concretely on site. Unfortunately, we mainly felt a lack of welcome, communication, maintenance, and attention paid to customers.
At €1,600 a week, we have the right to expect a much higher level of service and a much more qualitative experience.
This stay at Huttopia will therefore have been a first… and probably a last.

Nos campings Huttopia reposent sur un concept volontairement tourné vers la nature, la simplicité et les expériences à vivre sur aux alentours, avec une équipe disponible et à l’écoute de ses clients.
Nous prenons néanmoins en compte vos remarques concernant l’accueil, la convivialité de l’équipe, l’entretien de certains espaces et votre ressenti sur l’hébergement. Vos observations nous permettent d’identifier les points sur lesquels nous devons continuer à progresser.
Chez Huttopia, la rencontre avec les animateurs et prestataires se fait dans tous nos campings le dimanche à 18h, afin de présenter les activités proposées. Nous sommes désolés si ces informations ne vous ont pas été communiquées clairement
Pour les enfants de 5 à 12 ans, les « Petits Trappeurs » sont proposés tous les matins de 10h à 12h, sauf le samedi. Ces activités sont axées sur la découverte de la nature : fabrication de nichoirs à oiseaux, tir à l’arc avec du matériel en bois, etc.
Nous regrettons simplement que l’expérience Huttopia n’ait pas trouvé écho auprès de vous et espérons que vous garderez malgré tout un bon souvenir du cadre naturel dans lequel vous avez séjourné.

To do, to do again! A unique experience
We had a most remarkable stay in Huttopia Vanoise with my two children. The site, nestled between mountains and river, offers a setting both preserved and enchanting. The comfortable and warm chalets invite you to relax while the many activities have delighted the children and punctuated our days of discovery and shared laughter.
I would like to express my gratitude to Marion for her patience, her constant enthusiasm and to all her team, whose listening and availability remained exemplary despite the intensity of the high season. This quality of attention is rare and deserves to be highlighted.
As for the presence of insects, it is only the natural reflection of a stay in the wild, and we appreciate that Huttopia prioritizes the preservation of the environment by renouncing the use of harmful products.
We leave enchanted, rich in precious memories with family, with the sincere wish to return very soon.

Disappointing
Express Welcoming on arrival contrary to what the email says before our arrival, sanitary not enough, watch out for the pool because between the splinters of wood and the nails that stick out of the ground we quickly hurt ourselves and the paddling pool is so cold that the children do not go there. For the Welcoming Pot no presentations from either the team or the contractors waiting for us to come and see them. The management of child activities to be reviewed. I picked up my 7 year old son the children were alone no animator (maybe she didn't leave more than 10 minutes), and the animation nice darts except when the animator leaves the children alone (again) with real darts. Short disappointed with the campsite.

Hello we went twice to this campsite for us a real pleasure in December with snow and wood stove available for nature lovers and quiet we can park and the interior is comfortable perfect for both of us
